Hello.

I originally started Frankie's Weekend to honour the little bit of time off we get each week (& each school night!).


Over the past few years, my little online space has been a number of things. 


Now, it's a place to share my thoughts on running, restaurants and recipes, and the things I like. Somewhere I can share my current loves, a place where I can genuinely share my passion for running (despite being a v average runner myself!), my love of food and a place to document amazing weekends and offering my two cents on various things.

It's also a place I've been documenting my change to a veggie/ pesc diet. I am trying to adopt a more plant-based diet for environmental and ethical reasons - it's as much a surprise to me as it is to my friends and family, who all know me as a massive meat lover, but I've been researching and reading and educating myself for around a year now now and I don't think I'll go back.

I'd always intended this place to be somewhere people feel they can come not just for inspiration but for a laugh, too! I blog for fun and do it alongside working full time, and it's a hobby I hope I'll still have in many years to come.

Although born and bred in (the mighty) Bristol, Manchester has been my home since 2008, and I love it.
